CLiC facilitates the reuse and recycling of donated furniture and electrical items at affordable and realistic prices whilst creating supported employment and meaningful work placements for members of our community who need a leg up (those with physical and learning difficulties, those looking for employment, those on community payback schemes)

Our Core Business • reuse and recycling of waste to help to protect the environment • providing employment, training and development opportunities for local people, and • enabling people on a low income to get access to good quality items for the home at low cost. Company Vision To improve the quality and quantity of furniture, white goods and other household essentials we can offer people in need while providing work placement and volunteer opportunities that also support people within the local community. To improve and develop our training to help improve people’s employment opportunities and potentially, change their lives. Our social objective

Our mission statement is:

Changing Lives in Cheshire (CLiC) is a social enterprise committed to delivering real environmental, social and community impact and making a difference to the people of Cheshire. We provide creative solutions to social and environmental issues. Structured as a charitable company, we aim to be financially sustainable through enterprise but our social impacts (the way we help change people’s lives) are at the core of why we do what we do.

The outcome areas we're focused on are:

  • Housing, property and essential needs

The beneficiary groups we work with are:

  • People who are not in education, employment or training (NEETs)
  • Homeless people
  • People living in poverty
  • People with substance abuse issues

  • People with learning disabilities (including people on autistic spectrum)
  • People with physical disabilities or sensory impairments
  • People with mental health issues
  • Ex/Offenders
