July 26, 2017 Adrian Holle Event & Awards

The nomination period for the NatWest SE100 awards, a leading UK awards programme for social enterprises, begins now. The awards will go to a mixture of social enterprises across the country to celebrate excellence in various areas.

All charities, social enterprises and responsible businesses on the SE100 index will be judged in categories for awards such as Growth, Impact and Trailblazing Newcomer. Charities can also nominate themselves for the Resilience or Storyteller awards, or an individual for the Leadership award.

Mark Parsons, Head of Community Finance and Social Enterprise, NatWest said: “The NatWest SE100 Awards give us a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the very best of social enterprise, both small and large, across the UK. If you are a social enterprise that’s proud about the difference you’re making and you want the world to know about it, then get nominating - we’d love to hear from you.”

To be eligible for any awards organisations must be listed on the SE100 Index, which includes providing standard financial information and details on their social impact. The deadline for nominations for the Resilience, Storyteller and Leadership awards is Sunday 17th September, and organisations wanting to be eligible for the Growth, Impact or Trailblazing Newcomer awards must also have signed up for the Index by then.

Apart from raising your profile amongst peers and customers, award winners will receive a professionally produced film about their organisation which they can use for PR purposes, a beautiful SE100 trophy made by social enterprise artists, and a share of cash prizes totalling £5,000.

Winners also receive a free ticket to the annual Good Deals social enterprise and social investment conference held in November, and are invited to bring members of their team to attend a special residential (overnight) Insight event at the RBS/NatWest Business School in Edinburgh in early 2018, focusing on leadership.

The winners will be announced at a special ceremony in London in early 2018, which will celebrate the achievements of all the brilliant social enterprises on the SE100 Index.
